In the middle of the charming valley of the Nightingales, in the greenest part of the island of Samos, you'll find the small village of Valeondades. The Nightingale Valley is a little piece of paradise just one kilometre from Agios Konstandinos which lies at the shores of the crystal clear blue waters of the Aegean sea. In the heart of the valley surrounded by plane, walnut, laurel and olive trees and grape fields on stepped-terraces, are the Valeondades-Houses characterized by the Greek ministry of culture as 'a rare sample of local architectural and tradional art' and they are even protected by a special law. From the appartements you have a beautiful view of the lovely green valley and the nearest mountain, called Lazarus. In spring and autumn the only sounds that you can hear is the water flowing down the stream and the hooting of the owls.
Valeondades-Houses includes three properties, traditional buildings which have been restored with great care. Each of the buildings consist of two apartments (one on the ground floor and one on the second floor) with separate entrances and outdoor sitting areas. The apartments are decorated with original furniture, paintings, icons, rugs, tapestries, ceramics and other articles of domestic use and offer simple but comfortable accomodation such as shower/WC, kitchen with fridge, electric cooking rings and all necessary appliances for two to four people.
